Most of the robot vacuums we recommend are combination vacuum-mop units, self-emptying models or both. While these features are convenient, they typically require larger charging docks to accommodate a water tank or internal dust bag.
There are newer features and models that were created to avoid this, some now come with mapping tape so you can square off areas you want them to clean, others feature detailed floor-scanning, which will detect cables and areas to avoid.
And considering there are cheaper models that perform better, this was a major downside. However, if you just need it for light cleaning, this is adequate, but you might want to consider other options.

While the app is intuitive, and the mapping good, there is a major issue for anyone with an open plan living space. Namely, you can't separate it into different zones. It won't be a problem for everyone, but if you live in an open plan home, you'll probably want to opt for a different brand.
Great at vacuuming, and good at mopping although can sometimes spread wet spillages. Long battery life and fast charging.
If you have a bit more cash to play with, the s9+ can also talk with the company's Braava jet m6 robot mop, with the two working as a team, vacuuming floors, followed by a mop. Ultimately, this robot vacuum comes at a steep price, but it leaves little room for improvement.
It's good at avoiding objects, reliably dodging pets and other discarded objects, and only really struggling with cables (which no robovac we've tested has been able to reliably avoid).
